7 month old picture. She's so animated now days and so much fun. I have such a great time playing with her everyday and miss the time I can't spend with her.
In the sink right before her bath time. That is one of our favorite times a day with daddy drawing her water and mama getting off clothes and singing in the mirror and sitting in the sink.
First time in a big girl high chair at AQ Chicken the other night. She loved it and got a few bites of my mashed potatoes, which she turned her nose up at every time she tried them. Soooo picky!!
This past Sunday, Jan 20, in my old dress from when I was a baby. She has a rash around her mouth right now from the cold weather and the pacifier. We've tried the bigger one's, but she just gags on them.
Our little baby is growing up and is 7 months old now. She is doing so many new things. She laughs so much at everything we do and is happy most of the time. She is eating better now days but still really picky about what baby food she will eat and when she will eat it. The sun and the stars have to be aligned just right and someone other than me has to feed her. :)
She still takes a 6oz bottle at most feedings about every 3-4 hours and doesn't throw up nowdays. She's been pretty healthy in the last month and the doc says that she's a great proportional size and pretty long for her age.
Kayla isn't sitting up on her own or crawling yet, but almost there. She is sort of scooting backwards nowdays. She doesn't get as frustrated with being on her tummy nowdays and tries to grab at everything that's in her reach. And yes Brittany, she does hold her bottle everytime she's given one. My sister seems to think that it is the greatest milestone. I just want her to eat more food before she gets the bottle.
Her favorite word right now is "mama". Granted, she mostly says it when she's tired or upset, but at least she's saying it, but not "dada" yet. (much to Chad's disapointment)
She sleeps pretty good nowdays with the occasional wake up during the night, she sleeps through the night and gets up around 5:30- 6:00AM b/c we have trained her to due to our having to go to work early. She does good at the daycare and they try to feed her too, but she won't eat for them either. Maybe one day.
Kayla loves getting ready to take a bath. The bath is pretty serious and straight forward, but getting ready is a blast nowdays. She loves to look in the mirror at us and that other cute baby and stand at the side of the tub and be naked. She has peed on the rug a time or two though. :)

Kayla and Buddy are getting aquainted nowdays. She's sitting up now which about the height of Buddy to be able to lick her on the mouth or the hand. She doesn't know quite what to think and we don't allow too much. I'm glad that they are becoming friends and exploring oneanother.

Kayla is trying to crawl nowdays, but if you just leave her on her tummy now days she'll just end up rolling all over the floor and ends up in strange places. Last night she ended up inside her jumper. How she got over the bar, I don't know. Notice only one sock on too. She loves to take them off and chew on her socks. Right now she can't figure out how to pick up her tummy off the ground. If and when she figures that out, we're really gonna have to watch her!! She can also go from sitting up (b/c we put her that way) to laying on her tummy b/c she reaches out to get a toy, but then just rolls over to her back again. She's getting there.
