My 1st Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day was wonderful!! It started out with a wonderful breakfast made by my amazing husband and gifts from him and Kayla on the breakfast table. She got me the American Idol Karaoke Revolution game on X-Box, and he got me a Dooney Burke purse. It was a great surprise. Kayla was really happy that morning as we were getting ready for church. She looked cute in her pale yellow dress and bow. It was a great Sunday morning at church. We even found a place to go to lunch. After searching for a while, we ate a great lunch at MarketPlace Express.
I gave Kayla some shredded cheese, tomato, and vegetables from my plate and she loved them. It's so much easier to feed her nowdays.

We had the chance to meet up with friends from the community group and enjoy the nice day with all the kids. We met at one of their houses b/c it was a bit chilly and breezy. Kayla and I had fun swinging on the swing and playing with the other babies. All in all, it was a great first Mother's Day. I loved spending the day with my baby. I want her to stay a baby forever!!!
