On a Roll

Storytime with daddy. This book is cute b/c it has different textures that she can touch. She loves hearing our voice and will have a "conversation" with us in her own cooing language. She likes to rattle her voice and smile at us on the changing table. She rather enjoys having her diaper changed nowdays.

She's holding onto anything you put in her hands nowdays. I think I've got her trained pretty good to wipe her own mouth after eating. She likes to hold burp cloths, pacifiers (pulls them out of her mouth) and her new silky blanket. Also, she will hold our finger when we're feeding her the bottle. Its so cute!!

She's rolling over alot better nowdays. One day she rolled over about 4 times and ended up off of her mat. Still gets frustrated with it though.

She found her thumb!! Pretty consistenly sucking her thumb nowdays. We try to redirect her to the pacifier.

Kayla is 3 1/2 months old now and doing so many new things. She's finally sleeping throught the night consistently now, but wanting to got to sleep earlier. She alway's seems to go to sleep around 7:00 nowdays and sometimes doesn't wake up until 6-7 hours later. That means that she doesn't get her evening bath for that night. Oh well, as long as she's sleeping. I say yeahhhhh!!! Now if only I can sleep. I've been doing better about being able to sleep. We've got a pretty good routine down.
This week the daycare called me at about 2:30 and said that I had to come get her b/c she had alot of loose BMs. She's been sick for about 5 days now. She's been vomiting her formula and having yellow, liquid diapers. Its gotten a little better over the last couple of days, but its still there. She doesn't act like she's sick though, b/c she's still smiling, cooing and being really good. The doctor just said to give her Pedialite and wait it out. Apparently babies that young can't have any medicine. I even asked a pharmacist hoping he would tell me something different, but he told me the same thing. I guess we'll just see what happens. This is the first time she's gotten sick and its a little un-nerving. Dr. says that its a virus.
