Silver Dollar City

We went to Silver Dollar City in Branson, Mo on Memorial Day weekend. We like to go at least once a year with our friends Allen and Julie. We like to camp out with them, but since we have Kayla now, and its difficult enough to haul all of just her stuff, we opted not to camp and stay at a hotel just down the road. It was nice b/c it was out of town. That morning it rained for about 2 hours, so we didn't get to the park as soon as we wanted to, but it was nice the rest of the day. I think it made the park not as busy as I thought it would be on Memorial Day weekend. All in all it was a good trip with the family and friends.
Kayla in the big chair!! She was really good the whole time we were there.

Kayla had fun staying with Grandma for a couple of weeks. My mom came up to stay with us for 2 weeks and went with us to SDC. They bonded pretty well in the back of the Jeep.
The waterfountain at The Landing Shopping Center in Branson, Mo.

Kayla was good the whole time, except when it came to riding on the train and carousel. We were in the front seat of the train, (I don't know who's great idea that was) and she would cry everytime they blew the whistle. She didn't know what to think when riding on a horse that went up and down on a ride that went round and round. I was really looking forward to getting her on the rides. I guess she's not old enough to enjoy them. Maybe next year.
