Walking!!

As you can see, when Kayla started walking on almost on her 13 month birthday, she loves to explore new things and get into everything. This particular day she was fascinated by the toilet plunger. We thought that she would never walk. She would just hold onto our hands or furniture for the longest time. But, she was getting braver and taking about 3 steps at a time when suddenly one day after work, she walked the entire distance from her room to our room. Thats almost the whole width of the house. I was so impressed that day. I took some pics, but I think Chad deleted them.

Cutie pie in her pretty green dress one Sunday morning in July. She was so exctied and walking toward the camera. Daddy reading to her one of her favorite books. Nowdays she loves to listen to us read books and loves the interaction books that she can lift up the flaps or talk about the animals. We're working on teaching what each animal says or does. Also, she loves to show you where her ears and eyes are. She gets them right about half the time.
